After losing her granddaughter in an accident, Sophia is haunted by nightmares of the child’s death every night. In her desperate longing to escape these nightmares, she decides to recreate Nova’s consciousness as an AI to bring her back. However, the AI fails Sophia’s tests, and in despair, she abandons Nova.
Even after leaving her, Sophia has never once forgotten Nova. Regretting her fleeting mistake, she begins to hide bricks containing letters to Nova in places full of their shared memories. Sophia believes that since AI Nova holds all of Nova’s memories, one day she will find these bricks and return to her.
